Bruceton Mills, WV, July 11, 2025– Clear Mountain Bank is pleased to announce that Harry Hayes has been named Chief Consumer Product & Mortgage Production Officer. In his role, Hayes will oversee and drive the strategy, development, implementation and management of the bank’s consumer products while continuing to lead the mortgage production team.

Hayes, who joined the Clear Mountain Bank team in 2006, has nearly 20 years of banking experience, with extensive experience in consumer lending and mortgage production.

Hayes is a graduate of West Virginia University, where he holds a bachelor’s degree in business management. Hayes is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and earned the Wharton Leadership Certificate in 2015. In 2019, Hayes became the first West Virginian to earn the designation of Certified Mortgage Banker from the Mortgage Banker’s Association. Independent Banker Magazine also recognized Hayes as a “40 under 40” emerging community bank leader in 2020.

Hayes, a lifelong resident of Preston County, is heavily involved with his community. Hayes is a member of the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department, has served on the finance committee for the Buckwheat Festival for the last 15 years, served as General Chairman of the Buckwheat Festival in 2023, is a member of the Preston County Economic Development Authority Board of Directors and was one of the Campaign Chairs for the “Bankers United” campaign for United Way of Mon and Preston Counties in 2019.

Hayes is a previous recipient of the Clear Mountain Bank 2022 Brian F. Thomas Community Service Award for his commitment to community service, philanthropy, and volunteerism.
