Clear Mountain Bank Names Melissa Cumpstion as Vice President, Director of Wealth Management

Clear Mountain Bank officials have announced that Melissa Cumpston has been named Vice President, Director of Wealth Management. In this new position, Cumpston will oversee the bank’s Professional Banking program as well as the Clear Mountain Financial Solutions division.

Melissa has nearly 30 years of banking experience and has a great understanding of what it takes to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. She is also a true team player who works closely with our commercial, retail, and mortgage groups to take care of all of our customers’ financial needs in an integrated fashion,” states Clear Mountain Bank president and CEO, David M. Thomas.

A native of Monongalia County, Cumpston resides in Morgantown with her family. She attended West Virginia University and holds Series 6, 63, and life & health insurance licenses. She is also a 2023 graduate of Leadership Monongalia, a local program of the Morgantown Area Partnership that aims to develop and enhance personal leadership skills, provide knowledge enrichment of Monongalia County, and to develop and cultivate leadership involvement throughout Monongalia County.

She currently serves on the board of directors for Friends of WVU Medicine. Additionally, she is a committee member for the United Way of Mon and Preston Counties Women's United Steering Committee and Power of the Purse Fundraising Committee.
