Clear Mountain Bank Celebrates Ninth Year as Best Bank in Morgantown!

Clear Mountain Bank has been voted Best Bank in Morgantown for the ninth time since the competition’s inception and this marks the bank’s eighth consecutive year.

Now in its 12^th year, Morgantown magazine started the Best of Morgantown (BOM) competition in 2011 to encourage its readers to recognize and celebrate the excellent dining, shopping, and services that make Morgantown a great place to live. Winners were awarded for the first time in 2012, and the competition has grown immensely since then. Nominations are organic, in that Morgantown magazine readers submit nominations and final round votes online and are allowed only 1 vote per device per day.

Morgantown magazine editor Pam Kasey noted that BOM23 is growing each year. For Best of Morgantown 2023, readers nominated candidates in 101 categories from September 19 through October 2, 2022, and then voted on finalists from November 9 through 30, 2022. With nearly 68,000 nominations and more than 161,000 votes in 101 categories, those nominees were then whittled down to 416 finalists and 106 winners, which included 27 first-time winners.
