Annie Brode-Parenti, assistant vice president and executive assistant to the president of Clear Mountain Bank, has been named to the fifth annual ICBA 40 Under 40: Emerging Community Bank Leaders list for 2023.

The national award recognizes bank innovators and influencers who represent the future of the industry. This year’s program highlights the winners who are making a difference in their banks and communities through trailblazing innovations, a philanthropic spirit, and a dedication to their industry. Chosen from hundreds of entries, candidates were judged on character, leadership, community involvement, and innovation and were grouped in the following categories: lenders, educators, innovators, volunteers, marketers, and project leaders.

"We are very proud of Annie for being included among such an impressive group of influential community banking leaders,” expressed David M. Thomas, Clear Mountain Bank's president and CEO. He continued, "Annie’s contributions to our bank and the communities we serve are numerous, and she embodies our core value of Local Community Focus. She is the driving force behind our Clear Mountain Cares program, and her leadership, commitment, and hard work have been the keys to the remarkable success of the program."

The bank’s Clear Mountain Cares program, now in its fifth year, grants every bank team member paid time off from work to serve a community organization of their choosing.  Since the program’s inception, team members have volunteered for more than 3,500 hours with more than 100 community organizations.

Brode-Parenti is featured in the cover story of the June issue of Independent Banker magazine under the Volunteers category and her profile can be found within the full magazine article online.

"ICBA congratulates Annie Brode-Parenti as we celebrate rising talent poised to shape the future of the community banking industry,” ICBA president and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey said. “Her dedication to the bank's customers and community shines through and ICBA is proud to acknowledge her efforts and looks forward to watching her continued achievements and successes in the years ahead."
